I Don’t Know

April 20, 2020 by Laurel Burton Leave a Comment

The older I get and the more I read and study about God, the more I don’t understand. I don’t understand why God made us then gave us freedom of choice. Why didn’t He just make us, leave us in the perfect Garden, take care of satan, and not let us sin?

Why did He allow so much pain to Himself and us as sin entered the world? Why let all that happen when He knew it was going to occur?

I have a friend who is blogging a book he’s written. He is calling it Imagine! I highly recommend it! Wow, is it making me think!

I’ve never thought about exactly how the world may have been created or perhaps all the angels watched as God, Jesus, and the Spirit put it all into motion. It had never crossed my mind to think that even satan, Lucifer, may have been watching too, mocking the whole time.

Why did God create us free to love and choose? Maybe, like us, He wants our love to be our choice. Who wants to be forced to love? Who wants to force someone to love them?

There’s a lot we just don’t know and never will this side of Heaven.

But I have faith in the One who does knows.
