Have you ever been accused of something? It is not a good feeling. But don’t some people love to call you out on things as if they never do anything wrong? Maybe you are innocent. Maybe they just misunderstood what they heard or saw. Then again, maybe they hit the nail on the head.
We all stand accused…by Satan. And rightly so.
My daily Bible reading is in Hosea right now. We, like Israel, stand accused of the wrongs we do everyday. Our hearts turn away from God as we do things we shouldn’t.
But thanks be to God that He forgives us just like He did Israel. He loves us so much and wants us to always turn back to Him. It is never, ever too late.
Those accusers may still stand pointing, but we have to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus who judges us for eternity. Who cares about our earthly accusers? I only care about the One who holds my eternal soul.
