View from the Back Seat

When I am a passenger in a car, I try my best not to help the driver unless I’m asked. I don’t always hold back, but I try. I know some people try to ‘help’ by telling the driver what he/she is doing wrong, but are they really helping or hindering? We call them back seat drivers.

It’s hard, isn’t it, to let others have control?

It is especially hard to let God have ALL the control every single day. But if you’ve lived long enough, you realize that He does know best. There are still days where I want to be making decisions on my own.

But then I realize, I’m just riding in the back seat. I don’t have a good view of the road ahead like my Driver does. He is in control and taking me where I want to go.

I don’t want to be a back seat driver!
