In the Morning

June 14, 2019 by Laurel Burton Leave a Comment

I don’t know what it is about the night time, but when we’re going through problems, things look worse then. Maybe it’s the darkness, maybe it’s because we’re tired.

They say never make a rash decision at night. Wait until in the morning. And truly things do look better in the light of day.

That’s why I love the verse Psalm 30:5…

Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.

We can take this literally as in one night to the next day. And we can also say for the problems we have right now, they will be over when we reach our eternal reward.

As I have been going through a tough couple of weeks, this song has been a strength for me as have so many family and friends. But most of all, God has been the lifter of my head. I know He is here with me during every single struggle. I don’t know why things happen and we have to go through things, but I know Who holds my hand through it all!
