Facebook is a lit up this morning with posts of the shooting in Texas, and rightly so. We should all be upset about so many dead especially children.
It makes moms and dads everywhere want to grab our kids, hug them, and never let go. Even if they are 24 and 22 years old!
This isn’t the first school shooting. It will not be the last until…
Jesus comes back!
One Facebook post I read was asking why. Is it guns, mental health, what?
I know what it is.
Or rather who it is.
It is satan.
Don’t we know by now who rules this world? Maybe we just forget?
Ephesians 6:12 says, For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Our struggle, EVERY SINGLE DAY, is not against each other, but against satan. he rules this dark world we dwell in for a short time.
We need to remember.
But there is hope.
Jesus IS coming back.
In John 16:33 Jesus said, I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. 1 Peter 1:6
Take heart! Look ahead! Endure!
