Recently, my boss told me, “It’s a slippery slope.” While at the time, we weren’t talking about anything harmful, it got me to thinking. How many times have I had my feet on a slippery slope? How many times have my hands needed to hold onto the guard rails while on that slope only to find there were not any?
I have so many areas in which I need improvement. The most prominent one is to KYMS. Do you know what that stands for? Can you figure it out?
Keep Your Mouth Shut
I usually put an exclamation point behind it!
I need to learn to keep my mouth shut so much more than I do. It always gets me into trouble, or people take wrong what I’ve said.
Sometimes when I’m quiet, people think something is wrong. Most of the time I’m just thinking. I guess I talk way too much if people think that!
I am going to try to KYMS more!
