As I’ve stated in my previous blogs, I promised to always be honest in my writing. While it is always easy to be honest, it’s not always easy to be personal and open. But I’m going to try to do that today.
We all go through so many difficulties. Some are worse than others. Where do we turn?
About a week ago, I was diagnosed with a fairly serious condition. Thankfully, mine is a mild case and I will be okay. However, at first it was overwhelming thinking of all the changes I have to make to my lifestyle. But after processing it all and talking through it with family, I know it’s all going to be okay.
I could not do it without the support of those who love me and are closest to me.
And most of all I know I could not do it AT ALL without God. He is the One who makes me see the positive things of any situation. He is the One who tells me to put my hope and trust in Him to see what I should do. I know I can do all things with Him leading me.
And I believe He sends us what or who we need at the time we need it. He even sends us songs.
As I was walking the other day, this song came on my music. I knew it was from God. Yes, I’d heard it many times before, but it was just what I needed because of my mindset at the time.
So, I will stand my ground and do my best. It is what I should have been doing all along.
He will give me the strength I need.
And ultimately, I can eat a Krispy Kreme chocolate covered, cream filled donut in Heaven with my daddy when I get there!
