In the past year and especially in recent days, life has been hard. There is so much bad in this world. People post it on Facebook and other social media. We see it in the newspaper and on TV. We see it next door. We see it in ourselves.
satan is working diligently to try and get us to go to hell with him at the end of this life.
Honestly, it gets me down a lot. If you know me well, most of the time I am a laughing, smiling person. But the world ways us down, and sometimes it’s hard to stay up.
As I was thinking yesterday about all the bad in the world, I believe the Holy Spirit put this thought into my head and heart….Don’t let satan steal your joy! That is what satan wants to do. If he can make me look and feel sad by showing me all the bad he is making, then I’ll not be able to show my joy through these times and share why I have joy.
I don’t want that! I want to show and share God’s joy. I want others to see His joy even through my tears. Y’all know I’ll cry. That is the way God made me, but I will also smile because I know He has made me joyful.
So today I will choose JOY! (I love this song!!). It will be a daily choice, I’m afraid, because bad things are going to happen. This isn’t Heaven yet. But one day it will be!
