Grafted

I once watched a nature show about how to graft tree limbs. It was interesting and looked like a difficult process. You had to know exactly what you were doing.

Jesus talked a lot about Him being the vine and we are the branches. In Romans 11 Paul talks about the Gentiles being grafted into salvation. Isn’t it interesting to think about? When a branch gets cut off a tree, it dies pretty quickly without that nourishment and support. Just as if we are cut off from Jesus, the Vine, we will die.

But there is never a loss of hope. If anyone is cut off, he or she can be grafted back into salvation. The only hope is Jesus.

What a wonderful thought!
