Bought and Paid For

So many of us often choose the wrong thing. The wrong thing to do, say, think, or even eat.

We did this when we were young. We see our kids doing the same thing.

We do it when we’re older.

We do it all the time.

Instead of treating our bodies like the temple they are, we choose a different path.

Didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body. 1 Corinthians 6 The Message

God owns it all. Not just my heart, mind and soul but also my body. Bought with a high price. I can’t live however I please and expect to never pay the consequences for it.

It might be my health, my mind, or other consequences that I pay.

I pray it is never my soul that pays!

God has already bought it and paid for it!
