Do you see what I see?

When I was a kid, I loved the movie Snow White. I was fascinated that a woman could look in a mirror and see herself as the fairest of them all…for a while.

What do you see when you look in a mirror? If you’re like me, you see all the flaws, the wrinkles, the gray hairs, and think about what used to be.

However, I have learned to accept what I see. Flaws and all. I joke that I have earned every one of these gray hairs and wrinkles!

I know that God uses my flaws and scars. I also know what I see is not what He sees. He doesn’t see my wrinkles and gray hairs. He sees my heart. But even if I try keep it as pure as possible, it still has flaws.

Thanks be to God, that He sees me through His Son Jesus! He sees me the way no one else can. Not even myself. I see all the flaws, but He sees Jesus because I am a child of His.

I love this song. It is so true! God doesn’t see what we see in the mirror or what others tend to see in us. That isn’t who we are if we are a child of His. God sees us as priceless! Dressed in white because of the continual cleansing of Jesus’ blood.

I am so thankful the He can see who I want to be, who I try to be every day. He sees my heart.
