Daddy

March 5, 2019 by Laurel Burton Leave a Comment

My Daddy died September 9, 2011. It was a very sad day. It was a day we also rejoiced. He suffered no more, and frankly, we didn’t have to watch him suffering any more.

At his funeral one of the songs we chose to play is Chris Tomlin’s I Will Rise. I love this song. It is a song of hope during one of the saddest times in life. We who are left behind on this earth are sorrowful, but we can still have peace knowing we will rise as Christ did. As Christians we should know Whose we are and where we are going.

I hope and pray you know Him today and can feel Him in your life working and giving you peace.
