Who Do You Think You Are?

How many of us walk around this earth thinking more of ourselves than we ought? We have the mindset of we’ve arrived so now the party can begin.

Yesterday, my blog was a conversation between God and Job. You can read it here if you missed it.

Actually, I’m not sure I’d call the verbal exchange a conversation. Perhaps it was more of a verbal dressing down from God to Job.

We all do what Job did. We all question why things happen when we’ve been so good! How can God allow it when I live my life like I’m supposed to live it?!

But reality is I don’t. I’m not good. I’m not even close! I don’t live like I should every day. I miss opportunities. I make wrong decisions. I say wrong things.

I will never ever be close to being good enough.

So why not me? Why shouldn’t satan be allowed to sift me as God allowed him to sift Job?

Who do I think I am?

Who do you think you are?
