Superstitions

I grew up in a somewhat superstitious household. I can remember my mother throwing salt if any spilt or sitting down if she forgot something and had to go back in the house.

Today is Friday the 13th and a full moon. I’ve seen posts on Facebook about it, and I guess some people might have a bad day or have bad things happen.

I don’t believe in superstitions. Black cats have crossed my paths. I’ve spilt a lot of salt in my days. And I forget stuff all the time and have to go back in the house but never sit down. I don’t carry a four leave clover or rabbit’s foot. I don’t answer chain emails or posts.

I think the bottom line is God takes care of us. Bad things are gonna happen whether it’s Friday the 13th and a full moon or not.

Ultimately, God is in control. If bad things do happen, maybe they are coincidence. Maybe satan is being allowed to work his evil.

But one thing I know, God can and will turn the bad to good in some way. In the end it will all be good!
